We provide high quality day health program for impaired adults, including those with Dementia. The need for low-cost innovative Adult Day Health Care has grown dramatically in recent years. In the many multi-ethnic communities throughout Mecklenburg County, the very frail elderly and the aging developmentally disabled are particularly at risk of becoming completely isolated and no longer able to take care of their most basic needs.

From a health monitoring perspective, our most spectacular successes lie in the close monitoring by nurses on-site.

Our nurses are able to work closely with the families, doctors and other health care professional finding options for some of the many unmet needs of our population. Socially, our innovative, participant-driven programs reflect the areas we serve. At our site, we include the "under one roof" programs approach geared toward to levels of function "high functioning and low functioning". The cognitive level is determined through our one-on-one assessment with the Site Nurse, Health Coordinator and Site Coordinator.
